What will my address be?
MyUSaddress.ca customers are given a physical US address as follows:

Each unit number is unique to each customer.
What does it cost to have a US address with MyUSaddress.ca?
Obtaining a US address with MyUSaddress.ca is FREE. Our fees are applied
to the receiving and shipping of your packages.
What are your receiving fees?
MyUSaddress.ca charges $5 for general courier shipments
weighing up to 70lbs, $10 for medium-sized courier shipments
weighing between 70 and 150lbs and $50 for over-sized
shipments weighing over 150lbs.
We are a warehousing facility with loading docks that are 5 feet off the ground. When retrieving over-sized items, please ensure you have an adequate vehicle for loading. We ask that you notify us when placing orders for shipments weighing more than 150lbs.
Canadian customers who pick up their packages from our US warehouse assume full responsibility for transporting items across the US/Canada border. This includes paying any applicable duty and/or taxes.
How do I have my packages cleared and forwarded into Canada?
MyUSaddress.ca offers our exclusive Push It NorthSM service to get
your packages forwarded across the Canadian-USA border. Here's how
it works:
- Shop online and ship to your FREE US address located in Ogdensburg, NY, USA.
- Once notified that your package has arrived in Ogdensburg, NY, log into your account and specify that we Push It NorthSM.
- Within 1 business day, we proceed to clear and transport your package to our Prescott, Ontario, Canada warehouse for processing.
- Depending on your Push It NorthSM instructions, your package can either be picked up in Prescott or we deliver your package to your location using the most economical carrier available for your destination.
Our experienced customs experts can help your goods clear quickly and efficiently with our electronic customs-clearance network. We take advantage of the latest customs release initiatives and reviewing your goods to make sure they comply with product-specific regulations.
Push It NorthSM customs clearance fees are $3.50 per item (min. 4 items = $14.00) plus $6.50 bridge toll fee.
We ship to your location from our Prescott ON warehouse. Intra-Canada shipping is handled by Fedex Ground services unless otherwise specified. Occassionally, multi-package consolidation may save on shipping fees. Consolidation fees are applied at $2.00/carton.
MyUSaddress can only ship prepaid in order to protect against chargebacks from consignees that refuse freight charges.
What does it cost to have my packages cleared and forwarded into
Canada through our Push It North service?
To have items forwarded to Canada, you will be charged a brokerage fee -
$3.50 per item (min. 4 items = $14.00) plus $6.50 bridge toll fee.
In addition, taxes (13%) and any applicable duty which is determined by
Canada Customs will be applied. Based on the weight and dimensions of your
package, shipping estimates are provided during the Push It North request.
Final shipping fees will be applied at the time of shipping. MyUSaddress.ca
ships via Fedex Ground, unless otherwise specified. All packages are insured
up to $100 at no extra cost. Customers will be given the opportunity to
purchase insurance over $100 to cover any damages during shipping with Fedex.
Damage insurance is offered through the carrier, and as such, all insurance
claims will be handled directly with the carrier, not MyUSaddress.ca and
Strader-Ferris International.
What if I need to return items purchased from the USA, that
were shipped to my US address with MyUSaddress.ca? Can I get the Push
It North fees refunded?
MyUSaddress.ca can advise when returning merchandise to US retailers
but Push It North fees and shipping fees are not refundable. Customers
are responsible for obtaining refunds for duty and taxes directly
from Canada Customs. Please visit Canada
Customs for further information.
Does my US address with MyUSaddress.ca expire?
No, your US address with MyUSaddress.ca does not expire.
How do I know when my packages arrive at your location?
When packages arrive at our location, we immediately apply our own
tracking bar code and submit it into our system. If the package is
properly labeled with your name and/or unit number, the package will
appear in your list of "Unclaimed" packages which can be accessed
via your account. Depending on your notification settings, you
will also receive an email and/or SMS text notice when packages arrive
for you.
How long do I have to pick up my items?
MyUSaddress.ca will hold on to your packages for free for 30-days. After
that, an additional $1 per day per package will be applied until pickup.
How do I pickup my package(s)? What do I need to bring?
In order to retrieve your packages, customers should bring picture identification
and cash payment (Canadian or US funds - we accept both currencies at par).
If someone is retrieving packages on your behalf, please ensure they bring
picture identification and a copy of the "Package Claim Receipt"
which can be printed or emailed from your account. Canadian customers who
pick up their packages assume full responsibility for transporting items
across the border. This includes paying any applicable duty and/or taxes.
All fees are in Canadian/US currency (at par) and we accept cash and credit
card (Visa, MasterCard) payments only - we do not accept debit cards at
the moment.
What if I can't make it to pickup my package. Can I send
someone else to pickup my package on my behalf?
Yes, if you are unable to pickup your package you can have someone
else pickup your package on your behalf. They must have picture ID
and a printed copy of the "Package Claim Receipt". To obtain
a "Package Claim Receipt", users must log into their account
and select the "View" button next to the package. "Package
Claim Receipts" can be printed or the receipt can be emailed
to someone so they can print it.
What happens to a package that gets shipped to your location
without referencing my unit number?
When packages arrive at our location, we immediately log the package
using your unit number. If a unit number cannot be found, we search
our database for your name. This in turn provides us with your unit
number which then allows us to properly log your package.
What happens to a package that gets shipped to your location
without a name or unit number?
Packages that arrive at our location without any form of indentification
are logged as "Unknown". To claim "Unknown" packages, users will need
to provide documentation that proves ownership such as tracking numbers
and/or receipts.
Can I ship anything I want to my US address with MyUSaddress.ca?
No, please check our list of prohibited
items before shipping items to our location.
Why do I have to notify MyUSaddress.ca before shipping over-sized
items?
We are a warehousing facility with loading docks that are 5 feet off
the ground. As such, we are unable to "drop" over-sized
items into low passenger vehicles, trucks or low trailers. When retrieving
over-sized items, please ensure you have an adequate vehicle for loading.
Also note that the retrieval of over-sized items is limited to weekdays
only.
On occasion, shippers require a phone number at the destination
address. What phone number should I use?
MyUSaddress.ca customers should use 1-315-541-4242 when asked to specify
a telephone number at the destination address.
What happens to packages that are damaged during shipping
to your warehouse?
Damaged packages that arrive at our location are immediately logged
and flagged as "Damaged". It is your resposibility to pickup your
package and inspect the contents. If the contents are damaged, we
can facilitate the package return. You can review the state of your
packages by accessing your account.
As a business, I would like to ship to your warehouse. Can
I use MyUSaddress.ca for business purposes?
MyUSaddress.ca is only available to private individuals and serves
to facilitate the cross-border shopping experience. Businesses wishing
